The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is on Thursday, August 15, 2013, and it is a holy day of obligation. Here is the Mass schedule for this holy day:

  • Wednesday, August 14: Vigil Mass at St. Mary Church in Mound City at 6:30 PM
  • Thursday, August 15: Mass at St. Rose of Lima in Metropolis at 6:30 PM

Please note that there will be no morning Mass at St. Rose on Thursday, August 15.
